Australian Diabetes Council invites you to enjoy the Australian Open tennis on the big screen and have the opportunity to speak with health experts at the Australian Open live site, Customs House forecourt, each day from Monday 23 through to Sunday 29 January.

Our dieticians and exercise physiologists, as well as volunteers, will be at Customs House from 10am to 6pm to share information and answer any questions you might have.

So feel free to come down, soak up the atmosphere of the Australian Open, watch the tennis live on the giant screen and pick up a few healthy living tips at the same time!

  • Tennis players will burn approx 4700kj for men and 3800kj for women during an average game.
  • Did you know approximately 24 people will develop diabetes during the time it takes to play an average tennis match at the Australian Open
