Caring for the Elderly - Thursday 23 Feb 2012

“Caring for the Elderly with Diabetes" is a resource developed by Australian Diabetes Council as a quick reference management tool to provide information for all levels of carers working with elderly people with diabetes in residential care facilities.

The Workshop will cover the types of diabetes, nutrition for the elderly and practical management including blood glucose monitoring, hypoglycaemia, sick days, oral health and foot care.

NSW Corporate Games 2012

The NSW Corporate Games have been established in NSW for 18 years and are held annually each year in March. The NSW Corporate Games were founded to provide every person the opportunity to play in a multi-sport championship and to remain active in sport. It is a community-based mass-participation event which encourages teamwork and endeavours to promote fitness and fun. The event is targeted at corporate companies; however teams may include employees, colleagues, clients, family and friends and is open to all ability levels. The NSW Corporate Games is held every March over 4 days with a selection of 22 sports.
