A small booklet produced by Australian Diabetes Council that explains your seven key goals and provides a brief management diary.

A healthy eating guide.

Diabetes: Making Healthy Food Choices (PDF)
Developed especially for people from non-English speaking backgrounds and low literacy levels, these pictorial guides present photographs and images of hundreds of foods to help you, the health professional, give education on healthy eating.

Initially published in English, versions are now available in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Greek, Vietnamese, Arabic and Italian, with more to follow. Each pictorial guide contain foods that are culturally specific and the English translation will be written on the same page.

The Cycle of Care information sheet (PDF)
The risk of diabetes-related complications is reduced when blood glucose levels, blood pressure and blood fats are kept as close to normal as possible.

Good management of diabetes also includes feet, urine, eye and dental checks.  The “Cycle of Care” information sheet outlines the targets that have been set to help people with diabetes maintain the recommended cycle of care.
