NDSS Products & Information

NDSS Products

The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is a Federal Government funded initiative, administered on behalf of the government by Diabetes Australia.

In the 1980s, we lobbied government to provide a grant for the NDSS. Registration entitles you to receive essential products at subsidised prices, and syringes and pen needles are provided free of charge. Registration is free, and you are only required to register once. You do not need a doctor’s prescription to make purchases.

Registering for the NDSS

To register for the NDSS you will need to print and complete the NDSS registration form. Alternatively, you can request a form or further information by contacting the Customer Care Line on 1300 342 238.

Please Note

NDSS registration does not automatically make you a member of Australian Diabetes Council. More details about becoming a member of Australian Diabetes Council are available on the Membership area of this web-site or by contacting the Customer Care Line on 1300 342 238.

Where to Buy

You may buy products through NDSS at Diabetes Australia offices, by mail or through pharmacy sub agents.
