Leave a Gift in your Will
A gift in your will is a gift that lives on.
We know from experience that most people would like to leave the world a little better off. It is a way of sharing assets - money, property or valuables - that you may need now but can spare for a worthy cause when you no longer need them. Gifts to Australian Diabetes Council are the backbone of finance for the good work done for people with diabetes.
Gifts enable us to continue our vital education and awareness programs and our financial support for diabetes research. It would be very difficult to continue expanding services for an ever-growing number of people with diabetes without them.
Contributing to Australian Diabetes Council means you are helping to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of Australians, by:
- Helping them to avoid diabetes;
- Helping them to learn how to live well with diabetes; and
- Ultimately, helping to cure diabetes.

Giving in memory of a loved one
A special way to honour a loved one when they pass away is by offering family and friends the opportunity to make donations to Australian Diabetes Council to celebrate their life, instead of sending flowers. Your gifts will help us to support newly diagnosed people, educate about diabetes management and fund vital research.
How to organise donations in memory of your loved ones
The funeral director can organise this for you. They will contact us for a supply of special donation envelopes that will be available at the funeral. Alternatively, we can send these direct to a family member. We will send a letter and receipt to every person who make a donation In Memory.
An acknowledgment letter will be sent to the family, along with the names of the people who made a donation.
If you would like any more information about donations In Memory or setting up an online Tribute page, please call:
