“Caring for the Elderly with Diabetes" Workshop will cover the types of diabetes, nutrition for the elderly and practical management including blood glucose monitoring, hypoglycaemia, sick days, oral health and foot care.

Bariatric Position Statement

Australian Diabetes Council have today released a position statement stating that bariatric surgery has a place in the management of type 2 diabetes for people with obesity and co-morbidities where appropriate and when other medical and lifestyle interventions have failed.
